Davies Industrial Sales was established in 1982  by Stuart Davies, as an agency selling a range of industrial products for various manufacturers into the East Anglia region. It helped companies such as Rasmussen (Norma Products Ltd) in its selling activities throughout this area including representing them at Ford Automotive. DIS became a local distributor for Norma Products as well as remaining as a sales agency.  The strong connection between the two companies continues to this day.

With the knowledge and experience formed DIS saw a need for early digitalisation and invested in a computing system with a focus to using customers part numbers, enabling DIS to supply and be prominent in providing Just In Time (JIT) services.

In the early 90’s the business was sold to Stuart’s son-in-law, Richard, and daughter, Sarah, who continued to supply and build on multiple growing market sectors. It was during this period that Davies Industrial Supplies became what it is today as DIS East Anglia Ltd.

In early 2021 DIS East Anglia saw another changing of ownership, with a vision to again move the business forward and expand on the core foundation that has been built over the last 40 years. With the foundation and network as strong as ever the new ownership along with keeping the core team together, we are excited for what the future holds.
